Rockne

Rockne
ROCKNE (1933)

Royal saloon, convertible saloon.

Basically a baby Studebaker, this one was catalogued as such over here. It was named after a US football coach, Knute Rockne, in the hope that a hero's name would sell the car. Apart from the name, though, it was pretty conventional, and came with a rubber mounted sidevalve engine, synchro 'box, freewheel and mechanical brakes.
