Rolls-Royce
ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM VI

4-door 7/9seater limousine/landaulette.

Massive ceremonial limousine on 12ft 1in wheelbase and separate (Silver Cloud-type) chassis frame. All but a handful of the bodies were by Mulliner Park Ward. Laundaulettes by MPW were extremely rare. Until mid-1978, Phantom Vis had 6.14-litre engine, four-speed Hydramatic transmission and drum brakes; from then, the 6.34-litre unit, allied to three-speed GM400 transmission, took over, but drum brakes remained! Huge, ponderous, dignified, and exclusive - of course it's a collector's car, for enormous sums of money!
