Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce
ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER CLOUD I

Standard steel saloon.

Total rationalization: only the bonnet/radiator assembly distinguishes it from a Bentley. With new six-port head, the ton is obtainable. Electrically-controlled dampers and automatic standard, but power steering (a must) optional only, and not fitted at all before 1956. Best of the Clouds for regular use as it's quite fast enough, more frugal, and far easier to maintain than the V8s.
