ROVER 12

Saloon, sports saloon.

Cosmetic changes for the P2. It really differed only in styling from its predecessors. Although the frame was stiffened, ad hydraulics were replaced by Girling brakes, the new lower lines and flowing wings marked these cars out. For '38, the bonnet sides were fixed, while '39s had synchro on the top two ratios and piston type dampers. This shape continued until '49, the cars were elegant as any of their contemporaries, but alas the tourers had gone.
