ROVER 3500 MKII/3500S

4-door 4-seater saloon.

Apart from facelift to style (see 2000 Mk II, above), the P6B V8-engined cars also received optional power steering, and the manual transmission/150bhp 3500S was also put on sale. Complications - the 3500S has optional automatic, and the 3500 Automatic was also continued! This engine/manual gearbox was also used by Morgan for their Plus 8. In the 3500S, top speed was 122mph - even more popular with the police! Replaced by the new hatchback SD1 in 1976.
