Rover
ROVER TEN (1933-38)

Saloon, sports saloon, coupé, open 4-seater.

This one had a new engine complete with three main bearings. Chassis was new too, a 105ins underslung frame using semi-elliptics and live axles all round, while at the front there was a Wilmot Breeden harmonic stabiliser in an attempt to stop chassis frame weaving - an admission of failure, really. Girling brakes were now in favour, there was a four speed crash 'box, freewheel, and from '35 on, auto chassis lubrication was in. Good value at £283 for a tourer.
