RYTECRAFT SCOOTACAR

Single-seat tourer, 2-seat tourer.

Curious. Originally, the engine was a 98cc Villiers Midget, which drove through an automatic clutch to a solid back axle. There was only one pedal, which opened the throttle when pressed and applied brake and closed the engine off on lifting off. Later versions had a 250cc engine, a three speed and reverse Albion 'box and proper foot controls. Early cars had 15mph capability, later examples 40mph.
