SINGER 1½-LITRE

4-seater tourer, sports saloon, coupé.

Initially this one was strictly a fast tourer in the MG K2 idiom, and a very good car too. All new engine had four mains, overhead cam and twin carbs, giving 70mph capability. This was mated to a four-speed 'box, there was a fairly low rear axle (5.22:1) and 13ins diameter hydraulic drums were fitted. By '37 there was only a tourer listed, and synchromesh was now standard.
