SINGER 9HP IFS

Popular saloon, de luxe saloon, drophead coupé.

Completely new frame characterised this one, with coil spring ifs and live rear axle. 92ins wheelbase was retained, but there was a central cruciform racing, and fluidrive couplings were available for an extra £10 on top of the basic £180 purchase price. New body had six-light styling with distinctive rear overhang, and rear wings were flared, with deep outer valances. De luxes had safety glass, rear quarter light ventilators, dual blade wipers, and adjustable armrests for the rear seats.
