SINGER JUNIOR 9HP/JUNIOR SPECIAL

Saloon, saloon de luxe, tourer, coupé.

Bigger engined Junior, now with four-speed 'box as standard and a new 92ins frame. '33 cars came with 12-bolt electrics, a silent second ratio to complement the silent third, hydraulic brakes and electric pump feed. There were streamlined bodies in '34, and fluidrive and ifs came with the de luxe saloon in '35. Junior Special grew up into the Nine, 'perm-mesh clutchless changing' was a '34 de luxe permutation, and although a better car than its opposition, Singer never made enough to be truly competitive.
