SINGER TWELVE-SIX

Saloon, 4-seater tourer.

Pretty awful, the 12/6 could just about wind itself up to 55mph on its 5.44:1 top gear. Not bad looking, but it was dull. Totally conventional chassis was used, riding on a 1081/2ins wheelbase. Yet another 'six' it had sidevalves this time, four main bearings, and you needed the four speeds to keep it on the move.
