STANDARD FLYING TEN

Saloon, saloon de luxe.

Like all contemporary Standards, this one had poor rear vision, a slick 'box, much maligned brakes that actually worked pretty well, and was pretty lively with a useful 65mph top speed. Light Flying Ten was available, again with a lighter waisted frame, and '38s had a waterfall grille, while '39s came with ifs. Good value at £179 for the de luxe saloon.
