Very appealing little car, combining Hillman Imp Californian type coupé shell with Sunbeam Imp Sport 50bhp engine, plus four-headlamp nose, vinyl roof, slatted engine lid, smart special facia style and better trim and seating. Lowered suspension, servo brakes, leather steering wheel and radial ply tyres all helped make this a desirable little sports saloon/coupé. Yet this shell was dropped in early seventies as Chrysler UK struggled to survive. Most have rusted away now, but they are excellent alternatives to a Mini-Cooper.
