SUNBEAM TWENTY (1934-35)

Saloon, coupé.

With the end in sight, the Sixteen was uprated to the Twenty, with the new larger engine and grouped chassis lubrication '35 season innovations. Pushrod ohv engine had coil ignition, there was a four speed synchromesh 'box with the sweetest of actions, hydraulic brakes, helical bevel final drive and semi-elliptics all round on a 120ins frame. Bodywork still elegant, although in both concept and appearance the cars were beginning to look dated. The cost accountants didn't approve of them either.
