TALBOT 105

De luxe saloon, sports saloon, Airline saloon, drophead coupé, sports tourer, de luxe tourer, Brooklands tourer.

A quite superb car, probably the last vintage machine made in this country. Engine was enlarged to 3-litres, there was improved breathing and Zenith downdraught carburation, and even as sold to the pubic it was good for 85mph. All bodywork was attractive, and the Airline saloon incorporated a fastback as a concession to aerodynamics. Believe it or not, the cars are not the mechanics' nightmare they have always been thought to be.
