TOYOTA CARINA

2-door/4-door 5-seater saloon/2-door 4-seater coupé.

Medium-sized (Similar to Marina) Toyota for the seventies, one size smaller than the Corona. Like other similar Toyotas, has strictly conventional engineering, on 95.5ins wheelbase, longer for 1976, with MacPherson strut front end and beam axle rear. Servo-assisted discs, at least, and full equipment, with automatic optional in UK from 1976 on. Only pushrod engines and 4-door saloons available on the UK market, and this Carina was never a big seller. Recognisable, if you are so inspired, by twin headlamp nose and semi-fastback rear style.
