Toyota's very successful 'Capri-competitor', based on floorpan and running gear of the Carina, but with own distinctive notchback coupé and (with 2-litre engine only, in UK) 'Liftback' hatchback model (looking like a Mustang) for 1976. All with MacPherson strut, and a few in the Uk with twin-cam engines. Twin-cams were GTs, others were STs. Power from 100bhp to 130bhp - and 105mph even with humblest engine of all. A good rally car, too.
