TRIUMPH GLORIA FOUR

4-light saloon, Vitesse saloon, tourer, coupé, Vitesse coupé, Monte Carlo tourer.

Entirely new machines, attempting to take Riley on in the middle class sporting market. Chassis was cruciform braced and underslung at the rear, with a new spiral bevel final drive. You still had hydraulic brakes and free wheels, but all the bodies were new, and the tourer was specially attractive. Engines came in two states of tune, a single carb 42bhp unit and a 50bhp version with polished ports, larger valves and twin carbs.
