TRIUMPH HERALD 1200

2-door 4-seater saloon/estate/convertible/coupé.

Second generation Herald, with enlarged engine, higher gearing and better build quality, still with separate chassis and swing axle independent rear. Production running out as seventies opened, only of saloons by that time. Front discs only optional, even in later years. Coupés had gone in 1964, convertibles and estates being up-gunned to 13/60 for 1968. In all respects, a more successful, better liked car than the first 948cc Heralds.
