TRIUMPH SUPER SEVEN

Popular saloon, fabric saloon, coachbuilt saloon, Gordon England saloon, Tickford sunshine saloon, tourer, 2-seater coupé, 2-seater sports.

Basic version used the larger three bearing engine installed in 81ins wheelbase frame with semi-elliptics at the front, quarter elliptics at the rear. Hydraulic brakes and tough worm drive back end were unusual, as, by this stage, was the handbrake working on the transmission. 50mph  was hard work, '30s came with chrome plated ribbon rad shell, and the 747cc engine was reserved for the supercharged sports version, said to be capable of 80mph in stripped form.
