TRIUMPH VITESSE FOURTEEN/2 LITRE

4-light saloon, 6-light saloon, tourer, coupé, special saloon, 4-seater coupé, cabriolet.

Six-cylinder engine was basically a refinement of the old i.o.e. Coventry Climax unit with an overhead valve head - early versions even used the old pistons, con rods and crankshafts. This engine and the new 'four' were installed in Gloria type frames with upsweep over the front axle and underslung rear end, with semi-elliptic springs all round. Four speed synchro 'boxes were fitted to all Vitesses.
