VAUXHALL VX4/90 (FD TYPE)
4-door 5-seater saloon.
Like its predecessors, the VX4/90 was the large engine Victor worked over, given twin-Stromberg (Viva GT-type) engine, and overdrive as standard, with Rostyle wheels and styling touches to aid recognition; plus an automatic option for the first time on a VX. 100mph just available, but like other FDs, it was rust-prone, not very refined, and comprehensively outsold by Ford's Cortina 1600E.
