Wanderer
WANDERER W24

2-door saloon, 4-door saloon, cabriolet.

Dull but well engineered sidevalve 'four' from the firm, the engine had three bearings, the four-speed 'box had synchromesh, and there was all-round independent suspension. Top speed was a staid 64mph. Styling was pure Detroit, with vee grille and windscreen, skirted and curved fenders and integrated boot. Spare wheel lived on the tail, and access to luggage space was from inside only.
