WOLSELEY 16/45, VIPER

Tourer, saloon, coupé, fabric saloon, sportsman's coupé .

Both cars used an upstairs camshaft 'six', but the viper of '31/'32 only had three speeds and coil ignition, where its predecessor had used four speeds and a magneto. Hydraulic brakes were used on the viper, along with Morris 'Isis' style bodywork, and it cost £299. 16/45s had the de luxe treatment, so came out at £395 for a tourer, but only had mechanical braking.
