WOLSELEY SERIES II 14/56, 18/80

Saloon, sliding head saloon, salon de ville.

The 14/56 was parallel to the Morris Fourteen, capable of 70mph on its 5.33:1 rear axle. It was joined in '37 by the 18/80, using a 2.3-litre 'six' installed in a 14/56 frame - fitted with twin carbs, this was the real flyer of the range, good for 80mph. it also had ride control shock absorbers. Salon de Ville styling was more restrained with an external opening boot and front wings flowing into running boards.
