Yet more rationalization, with all three saloons coming on a 117 1/2ins wheelbase frame - limousines had a 141ins wheelbase, though. Other series III gimmicks including anatomical seating, 30 years before Volvo invented it, and provisions for radios. With forward mounted grilles, the cars lacked the grace of their predecessors,  and the limo now weighed in at around the two ton mark.
