Alvis’ centenary is to be the subject of a brand-new exhibition at the Louwman Museum in The Hague.
Running from 20 December until 2 February 2020, the Dutch showcase will feature 17 Alvis cars, giving an overview of the marque’s most important models.
Curated with assistance from the Alvis Owners Club Nederland, the display is set to include a 1923 Alvis 1 12-40 ‘duck’s back’, a 1933 Alvis 7 Firefly SB clothed by Cross & Ellis (above left), an Alvis 6 from 1932 and a majestic 1936 Alvis 10 Speed 20 Charlesworth (above right).
