Once again, Lego is here to help solve the age-old classic-car enthusiast problem of not having enough space or money to own all the cars you want at the same time.
It’s launched a brand-new, 1470-piece recreation of a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback that’ll require shelf rather than garage space – and it looks really rather good.
This kit is part of the Lego Creator Expert series, it’s available from Friday (1 March) and it’s priced at £119.99.
For that you get a fetching, dark-blue body with white stripes and a bonnet scoop, a printed Mustang grill badge, GT emblems, working steering and Torq Thrust-style wheels.
This mini Mustang stands around 10cm high, is 34cm long and 14cm wide, it has a detailed replica of a 6.4-litre V8 under the bonnet, complete with a battery, hoses and air filter, and it’s customisable, too.
