The Audi UR quattro that starred alongside Phillip Glenister in the hit television series Ashes to Ashes is to be sold to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
The 1983 car, which features Glenister's signature as well as his character's catchphrase 'Fire up the quattro', is being auctioned online.
In a video accompanying the advert, Glenister said: "If you want to fire up the quattro, first you'll have to fire up your wallets!"
Prior to the start of the auction, the quattro was treated to a 'major restoration' courtesy of Audi UK, though the advert states that it still sports a number of battle scars from filming.
The car has remained in the BBC's stewardship since the series ended, and it was recently voted in the top five most famous television cars by a national poll.
Bidding will remain open until 9pm on 16 November, giving enthusiasts and fans of the series plenty of time to register their interest.
