Silverstone Auctions is poised to host its second Porsche-only classic car auction on 15 October in conjunction with Porsche Club GB.
The event, which takes place at the Silverstone Circuit, will see 65 Porsches cross the auction block, including the highest estimated lot, a 2004 Carerra GT, which is expected to sell for £440,000-480,000.
Delivered new to a dealer in Tampa, Florida, the car eventually made its way to the UK in 2009. Currently residing in a private collection, the Porsche has got just 30,180km on the clock.
A 1968 Porsche 911T is also expected to draw plenty of attention. The short-wheelbase model has been recently restored and been in the care of one owner since 1998. Being right-hand-drive, it has every chance of exceeding its £100,000 upper estimate.
Though slightly more modern, a 1975 911 2.7 Carrera Targa has been tipped to fetch £130-160,000. One of just six UK supplied examples, the car is well known to the club, having in the past been owned by Porsche Club GB members.
