A parade of cars which starred in the first two Tintin comics and Spirou magazine will take to the streets of Brussels of 3 September as part of an annual celebration of the cartoon character at the Brussels Comic Strip Festival.
Around 100 classic cars are expected to take part in the Tintin Magazine Rally, which aims to bring to life the charming and remarkably accurate automotive depictions in Hergé’s comics.
The cars will set off from four separate locations (Lier, Verviers, Jumet and Anderlecht) before completing a 100km tour to Brussels and arriving at the Place des Palais, where a panel of judges will award prizes to the teams and cars most faithful to the original illustrations.
The rally first took place in 2013 and has since become a much-loved addition to the Festival.
