It may only be a static display, but, as the details for this year's Race Retro show are unveiled, a Porsche 956 looks set to be the star attraction.
The Group C car - prototype chassis 001 that was raced in Rothmans livery by Ickx and Bell - will be at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, from 24-26 February.
From the same marque, but in serious action will be the 1984 Group B Porsche 911 SCRS 280bhp rally car that will feature on the Live Rally Stage.
Other highlights include:
- A tribute to 50 years of the MGB with ex-works racers including the ex- Christabel Carlisle and Denise McCluggage '63 Sebring car and a second Sebring veteran that was campaigned in period by Paddy Hopkirk and Andrew Hedges.
- Hall & Hall will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Graham Hill winning the team’s first Formula 1 GP world Championship in 1962 by displaying the championship winning BRM P57 1.5 litre V8 GP car.
- The Historic Endurance Rallying organisation's arrive and drive feature.
- A Silverstone Auctions sale.
