More than 5000 visitors are expected at the 13th Footman James Classic Vehicle Restoration Show in Shepton Mallet on 2-3 November.
Up to 150 exhibitors are signed up for the event, too, including classic car clubs, traders and autojumblers spread across four indoor arenas.
Live displays will form the centrepiece of the meet and event organiser Nigel Stevens said: “Clubs are registering their displays all the time, but there are already confirmed entries for extensive restoration projects."
He added: "Others will focus squarely on aspects of car restoration, be it engine or chassis, general overhaul or finishing touches, such as chromework and polishing.
“Many of our visitors are looking for advice, services and spares to restore or maintain their vehicles over the winter months.”
Visitors can bring their own classic cars to show off in the VIP area, or have the chance to buy a classic at Sunday’s Charterhouse auction.
Tickets are priced at £9 and can be bought on the event’s website, while parking is free. Booking forms for stands and spaces are also available online or by calling Josette Corbett on 01822 832011.
