Last summer’s inaugural Flywheel Festival combined aeroplanes with veteran, vintage and classic cars at Bicester Heritage. The two-day fixture returns to the former RAF base on 2-3 July, and will again include action on the airfield’s old perimeter road, as well as air displays.
Elsewhere on the site, there will be period music performances, military re-enactors, a vintage trade fair and traditional funfair rides. All of the businesses that are now at Bicester – from dealers to preparation specialists – will open their doors to enable visitors to see what goes on in the various refurbished buildings.
