This year’s Donington Historic Festival will comprise 17 spectacular races from 30 April-2 May, and we’ve got five pairs of three-day weekend tickets to give away.
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Dick Seaman and Hans Ruesch’s victory in the Donington Grand Prix, the Historic Grand Prix Cars Association is set to put together a field of pre-1950 cars for the Nuvolari Trophy. The oldest machinery, meanwhile, will be in the ‘Mad Jack’ race for pre-war sports cars.
The ‘1000km’ race should be Saturday’s highlight, with the grid of 1964-’71 sports, touring and GT cars competing in a three-hour enduro into dusk.
There will also be demonstrations of historic karts and Group B rally machinery, while owners’ clubs will return with infield displays.
