If you thought the Concours of Elegance was only about admiring some of the world’s most beautiful classic cars in the majestic grounds of Hampton Court Palace, think again.
Admittedly there is no ‘only’ about the mouth-watering line-up planned for the 3-5 September concours, but thanks to C&SC you also have an opportunity to stretch your classic’s legs.
The Classic & Sports Car Tour on Sunday 5 September starts at the Odney Club in Cookham, and finishes 90 miles and about two and a half hours later at the Concours of Elegance, and it is open to owners of classic, sports and GT cars, both classic and modern.
Participants will enjoy breakfast at the Odney Club before setting off and following the supplied roadbook, which will take them on a scenic route through Berkshire and Surrey.
