Classic & Sports Car – Join us for the launch of Classic & Sports Car’s digital archive

For the latest classic car news, features, buyer’s guides and classifieds, sign up to the C&SC newsletter here

Next week, on Monday 1 November, we’ll be holding a special event at the Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall to launch our brand-new online archive.

Known as The Motoring Archive, it features every back issue of Classic & Sports Car and sister magazine Autocar, to create the biggest and most historically significant resource of instantly accessible motoring history anywhere in the world.

The event is an opportunity to discover more about the digitisation process and to meet members of the C&SC and Autocar teams.

Tickets are £48 per head, which includes light food and drinks plus a 14-day trial access to the archive, as well as rarely granted entry into the RAC’s incredible gallery and trophy rooms.

Interested? Book here – but you’ll need to be quick, space is very limited.

The first issue of Classic & Sports Car was published in April 1982 and we’re establishing this archive as part of our 40th-anniversary celebrations.

To date, 87,000 pages of C&SC have undergone a high-quality scanning process, by Pete Boswell and his Archive Digital company, creating a fantastic, invaluable resource for readers, subscribers, owners, experts and enthusiasts.

Our archive will be searchable, too, so you can find what you need with ease.

Access to this treasure trove of material will be by subscription, with daily, monthly and annual passes available to buy.

So if you’d like to join this special event on 1 November 2021, tickets cost £48 and can be booked here – but places are strictly limited.
