If hot modern classics are your cup of tea, there's plenty of interest at the year's final Classic Car Auctions sale.

How about the sub-27,000-mile 1989 Renault 5 GT Turbo, pictured above?

It's a left-hand-drive car that was delivered new to Japan and has been recently imported to the UK.

Red with its original, grey cloth interior, which is apparently in good condition, it has a pre-sale estimate of £15-18,000.

But that's not all that's caught our attention in the catalogue for the sale on 1 December at Warwickshire Event Centre.

The E3 has a £35-40k estimate, while it's expected that the Capri will hit £18-22k

How about a BMW E30 M3?

Just a year younger than the Renault and carrying a more substantial estimate of £35-40,000, this example is Alpine White with a tan leather interior, and was professionally repainted in 2016, the same year its braking system was overhauled.

Or maybe this one-owner 1986 Ford Tickford Capri takes your fancy?

It needs a little love to bring it back to show standard, but being one of 80 built, it could well be worth your while.

Black with a half-leather Recaro interior in grey, it's done 56,900 miles and it's estimated it will sell for £18-22,000.

And while this 1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa might have done close to 120,000 miles, don't discount it.

This Copper Bronze Metallic example has received a full restoration, during which it was resprayed and its black leather interior was refreshed, work which totalled over £30,000; its pre-sale estimate is £30-35,000.

"There’s a real thirst for modern classics from the ’80s and ’90s at the moment so it’s fantastic to see so many great examples already consigned to our year-end December Sale," said Gary Dunne, sales manager at Classic Car Auctions.

"The sale is already shaping up to be one of our best of the year and spaces are filling up fast so if anyone is looking to enter their everyman classic into the sale, they should get in touch as soon as possible."
