Classic & Sports Car – Wanted: club members to vie for concours glory

We’re getting excited about one of the UK’s first big post-lockdown classic car extravaganzas – and we want you to be part of it.

The Concours of Elegance is coming to Hampton Court Palace on 4-6 September and if you’re in a car club, you and your fellow members could be in the running for silverware from one of the UK’s most prestigious concours.

The Club Trophy, in association with the Royal Automobile Club, sponsored by Classic & Sports Car, is your chance to shine. And it’s so easy to get involved…

Fancy seeing what concours judges make of your pride and joy?

The Club Trophy is where Britain’s passionate car clubs present their very best models to be judged by the Concours of Elegance’s expert team, including Prince Michael of Kent, and as well as basking in the joy of winning, the top-rated classic also secures a coveted spot in the main concours line-up for 2021.

The contest is part of the programme on Saturday 5 September and, on the same day, club members’ cars are exhibited in the palace grounds to form the magnificent Club Displays, sponsored by C&SC.

So not only is this a memorable day out with your classic and your car-club community, it’s an opportunity to share your car with others, too.

You and your classic could be winners – at a safe social distance – at 2020’s Concours of Elegance

Entries have already been received from clubs as diverse as the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club, the Bentley Drivers Club, the Gordon Keeble Owners’ Club and the Isetta Owners’ Club of Great Britain – and your club could join this list.

Simply speak to a representative from your club and ask him or her to email the Concours of Elegance’s Iain Campbell about creating a display and/or entering the Club Trophy – which you can do by just clicking here. It’s that easy.

The deadline for entries is Wednesday 26 August 2020.

We look forward to seeing you there!

And don’t forget about our two-for-one ticket offer with exclusive parking
