It’s full steam ahead for this year’s Concours of Elegance, as organisers confirm that it will return to Hampton Court Palace on 4-6 September.
Held in the palace’s 60-acre Fountain Gardens, which reopened to the public this week, its setting should help organisers comply more easily with the British government’s COVID-19 guidelines.
And with a 25th-anniversary Le Mans McLarens showcase and a unique Alfa Romeo pairing already revealed, it looks like the line-up will be as mouthwatering as ever.
Tickets for September’s event, set to be the first major concours since Amelia Island back in March, are on sale now, but available only in limited numbers.
And if the event is cancelled, all tickets will be refunded or deferred until 2021.
“It is always a brilliant event, with the palace gardens making a spectacular backdrop for the cars on show. We look forward to working with the event organisers to ensure that all of our guests can have a safe and enjoyable visit,” said Liz Young, Head of Events for Historic Royal Palaces.
