The latest Peninsula Classics Best of the Best Award finalists have been revealed ahead of a ceremony at The Peninsula London on 3 September 2024.

The annual Peninsula Classics Best of the Best Award is the ultimate concours prize. Its shortlist is formed from the Best of Show recipients at the world’s most prestigious concours events each year, the winner announced the following summer.

The previous car to take this accolade, in 2023, was a 1938 Delage Type D8-120 S Cabriolet, chosen after it scooped the top gong at the 2022 Concours of Elegance.

Scroll down to find out which eight classic cars are vying for this year’s award.

It’s the only British car in the final eight.

One of four remaining Voisin C25 Aérodynes is also competing for the Best of the Best trophy.

The 1935 car, which has previously been a Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance winner, took home Best of Show at The Amelia last year.

A 1935 Duesenberg Model J Speedster completes our rundown of these concours-winning stars.

This car – the sole Gurney Nutting-bodied Model J – earned its place on the list thanks to victory at 2023’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

Designers Peter Brock, Flavio Manzoni and Chris Bangle, plus Ralph Lauren and Jay Leno, are among the judges for the latest edition of the Peninsula Classics Best of the Best Award, and 2023’s winner will be crowned on 3 September 2024 in London.
