The capital's busiest shopping street will swap buses and taxis for veterans and super cars on 1 November as the Regent Street Motor Show makes its return to London ahead of the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.
The road will be sealed-off to traffic from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Circus, with hundreds of motoring icons on show for an expected 400,000 visitors. More than 100 London to Brighton entrants will also be put on display to help celebrate the Motor Show's 10th anniversary.
"The Regent Street Motor Show is now recognised as a great day out for the family, whether they are car enthusiasts or just shoppers," said Annie Walker, director of the Regent Street Association. "The huge variety of exhibits perfectly complements Regent Street, with an array of vehicles ranging from horseless carriages to the cars of today."
