Some of the most recognisable names from the world of motoring are set to feature on the Smooth Radio Interview Stage at Classic & Sports Car – The London Show from 30 October-1 November, and you could be there to meet them.
Among the celebrities to take to the Smooth Radio interview stage is Formula One engineer and former team boss Ross Brawn, who owns chassis 2119GT – the Ferrari 250GT swb that famously won the 1960 Goodwood Tourist Trophy and the subject of a new book by Doug Nye. As well as recounting his tales from the pit lane, Brawn will be on hand to sign copies of the book.
He will be joined on stage on Friday by Ant Anstead, founder of the Evanta Motor Company and co-presenter of television’s For the Love of Cars and the recent Building Cars Live.
Endurance racing fans will get the chance to speak with Le Mans winner David Brabham, who will also be taking part in a signing session.
Sir John Egan, the man credited with saving Jaguar in the 1980s will share stories from his time at Shell, Massey Ferguson, AC Delco and Unipart, plus will take part in a signing session on Saturday afternoon.
Artists Kasia Morgan and Tim Layzell, designer of this year’s event poster, will be available for signing sessions on each day of the show, while former Top Gear presenter Chris Goffey will prove a hot ticket given the recent changes at the BBC franchise.
Former Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis, C&SC’s own Simon Taylor and Mann Racing’s Tom and Henry Mann are also expected over the weekend.
