An incredible group of classics are expected to turn out at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm for the St Mawes Classic Car Festival on 4 May. The farm, which is run by descendants of Donald Healey, will see its own collection (which boasts a Healey Silverstone, Austin-Healey 3000 and Austin-Healey Sprite) bolstered by more than 20 additional cars.
Among the highlights are a 1950 Fraser Nash Le Mans Replica, a 1953 Ferrari 250MM, a 1957 Ferrari 250TR and a 1953 Frazer Nash Targa Florio, which will also take part in a series of time trials at Perranporth Airfield organised by the Truro Motor Club.
A trio of Jaguar E-types will also be on display, as will an XK140, a Triumph TR3A and an Aston Martin DBS, plus younger classics such as a Porsche 911 993 Turbo.
“Cars are naturally a big part of our family history, so we’re really looking forward to welcoming some extremely rare classics to the farm,” said commercial director Joe Healey. “It’s a great opportunity for visitors to come along and see these amazing vehicles close up and talk to the owners. The collection of over 20 cars will gather in the car park, and the public are welcome to join us.
“We regularly host car meets at the farm, including the MG Club, so it’s great to have the St Mawes Classic Car Festival as a new addition to our calendar of events.”
