Aston Martin’s historic Works Service is to be developed. The famous Newport Pagnell site – which was home to Aston Martin production for more than 50 years – is to be modernised to improve the car-servicing workshops and toaccommodate a new Aston Martin dealership.
The Buckinghamshire facility will undergo a two-year refurbishment programme, starting later this month and culminating in the opening of Aston Martin Newport Pagnell (artist's impression below).
The current Works Service infrastructure will be upgraded to accommodate the winged brand’s new Works Tailored offering, which aims to formalise and expand the company’s reputation for offering the ultimate in bespoke Aston Martins.
Kingsley Riding-Felce, director of Aston Martin Works Service, said: “We have established ourselves as a leader in Aston Martin service, repair and restoration here at Newport Pagnell. The ability now to invest in our buildings and bring them to the same high standard of our knowledge and skill is very exciting indeed.”
The company has occupied the Tickford Street site since one-time marque owner David Brown bought the premises from the coachbuilder Salmon & Sons in the late 1950s.
