Racers battle wintry conditions at the Nurburgring
Poor weather typical of the Eifel region hampered the racing action at the beginning of the weekend, with some grids suffering delays on Saturday morning. Most of the races were confined to the modern Grand Prix circuit, with only the pre-war group tackling the infamous Nordschleife.
