If you can't make it to next weekend's Le Mans Classic, don't worry!

While, of course, we'd love to have you along on the C&SC reader run, if you're not France-bound, this year's bigger-and-better-than-ever live streaming will help keep you up to date with the on-track action.

Aiming to build on the success of 2016's coverage, 16 cameras will be broadcasting 16 hours of coverage, featuring 12 races.

These free, live, online broadcasts are available at lemansclassic.com, while for those of you in Canada and America, the official broadcaster is motortrend.com.

Commentary will be provided in French and English, with Marc Minari and Gilles Della Posta doing the former, Bruce Jones, Jim Roller and Martin Haven the latter.

So, what's on when?

Coverage starts bright and early with the hour-long Jaguar Classic Challenge from 9.15am (all times BST) on Saturday 7 July, followed by Group C racing at 10.15am.

Then it's the Porsche Classic Race Le Mans, from 1.25pm until 2.25pm, followed by the Little Big Mans – the fun-filled race for seven- to 12-year-olds.

From 2.50pm it's the first Grid 1 contest, where racers from 1923-1939 do battle on this historic track. Get ready to see 3-litre Bentleys, Type 44 Bugattis and more.

Next, at 4.20pm, it's race one for Grid 2, featuring cars from 1949-1956 – we're talking C- and D-types, Porsche 356s, Aston Martin DB2s, Mercedes-Benz 300SLs, Triumph TR2s and more.

E-types and Cobras are sure to provide scintillating action in the Grid 4 races

The penultimate action you'll be able to catch via the live stream on Saturday is Grid 3's first race. Run between 5.50pm and 7.20pm for 1957-1961 racers, Lister Jaguars, E-types and Austin-Healey 3000s are on the entry list, plus the famous Ferrari 250GT Breadvan and a 250GT Berlinetta.

Finally, from 7.20pm, tune in to watch 1962-1965 cars do battle in Grid 4's first running. And it's sure to be a tightly fought contest, with Cobras, E-types, GT40s, Corvette C2s and many more similarly evocative cars going wheel-to-wheel on the Circuit de la Sarthe.

There are also five races being streamed live on Sunday 8 July, starting at 8.30am with the third races for Grids 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

And, in case you're wondering, you'll see Lola T70s, Chevron B8s and more in the 1966-1971 Grid 5 race, while Grid 6 brings together the meeting's youngest contenders (1972-1981), such as Ferrari 512 BBs, Porsche 935s, 924s, 911s and 930s, Ford Capris, BMW M1s and many more.

So, wherever you are, we hope you enjoy the 2018 Le Mans Classic.
