Classic & Sports Car – Lotus is live streaming its 70th birthday party

Don’t worry if you weren’t one of the lucky few to secure a ticket to Lotus’ 70th-anniversary celebrations at its Hethel HQ tomorrow.

Why? Because the sold-out event will be streamed live online so everyone can join in the party.

It’s perhaps unsurprising that tickets sold out mere hours after being released, but if you’re not one of the lucky few to have snapped one up, the live stream will start tomorrow – Saturday 29 September – at 10am (BST) from Lotus’ YouTube page.

Alternatively, you can watch it here on Classicandsportscar.com – the stream isn't live yet, but you do get this rather fetching holding screen!

If you’re on social media, meanwhile, look for the hashtag #Lotus70.

With displays from Classic Team Lotus and owners’ clubs, as well as track action, there’s sure to be plenty to enjoy. The day’s timetable is as follows:

  • 10:15 110 Lotus Bike Club Cycling Time Trial
  • 10:45 Welcome and Introduction from Senior Lotus Executives
  • 11:00 70th Celebration Unveiling
