Classic & Sports Car – Online extravaganza for this weekend’s Silverstone Classic

This weekend (31 July-2 August), join in the fun at Silverstone Classic’s Online 30th Anniversary Party.

Following the event’s pandemic-prompted cancellation, organisers have a virtual birthday party in store, fronted by TV presenters Louise Goodman and Tiff Needell, that promises a packed programme of entertainment.

And all you need to do to watch is to head to the event’s YouTube channel.

From 7pm (BST) today, Friday 31 July, catch interviews with the event’s founders and some of the racers who competed at the inaugural meeting in 1990, plus you can watch The Mulberry 100-mile race for historic Grand Prix cars from that first edition.

Saturday’s line-up, from 9am-12:30pm and then from 5-7pm will feature Group C racers, historic F1 and F2 and Can-Am contests, and much more.

Finally, Sunday’s action, from 10am, will showcase touring cars, a celebrity race and a tribute to Sir Stirling Moss.
