A record-breaking number of Ferrari Dinos descended on Maranello last weekend to mark 50 years since the first production model made its road debut.
In fantastic sunshine, over 150 Dinos and in excess of 300 customers came from around the world for the half-century birthday celebrations.
From the forecourt of the Maranello Museum, the cars drove to the Fiorano track for a parade, before heading to the factory for a special tour.
Finally, one car at a time, they passed under the historical entrance on Via Abetone Inferiore.
Now, keen-eyed readers may be questioning the date and wondering why the Dino is being celebrated in 2018. After all, it was exhibited as a prototype at the 1965 Paris Motor Show, then displayed at the Turin Motor Show the following year and finally officially launched at the 1967 Frankfurt Motor Show.
